Came here with a large group and service was great from start to end! Employees were consistently nice and helpful when I called to ask questions about making/changing reservation and parking. The spicy broth is actually SPICY, which I love! The chicken broth was also highly complimented throughout my group. I tried a lot of things for the first time here, such as goose intestine. In general, the restaurant has many authentic items on their menu that are difficult at competitors. I like the jelly desserts too. Would love to come back and try lunch here someday!
We had two set meals for $35 total, which didn’t include the crispy pork. The spicy broth had a rich flavor — it started off mildly spicy but got hotter the longer it cooked. The fish tasted great in the spicy soup. The cold dishes at the sauce bar were also delicious. The hot pot had a wonderful aroma. I think it’s a better value than Haidilao across the street — Haidilao is more expensive, gives smaller portions, and their side dishes aren’t as tasty.
Went there for the new coconut chicken pot. It’s more than enough food for two people. The coconut gives a gentle sweet taste. A great option for people who doesn’t like spicy pots much.
